Description
Bismuth is a heavy metal and non-toxic, and is the most naturally diamagnetic element. It is one of the lowest values of thermal conductivity among metals. It has a high electrical resistivity, and less dense as a solid than as a liquid (it expands as it cools). Bismuth is mainly used as additive in copper, aluminum, iron, and steel to toughen and make alloys that are more machinable. Santech produces Bismuth in various shapes and sizes, such as ingot, powder, needles, grains and a wide range of purity from 99.5% to 99.999%.
