Indium new product development plan

Time: 2019-10-08

1. Development of solder containing indium, solder paste series

Indium-containing solder, the industry development of solder paste, first depends on the development of ITO target soldering and semiconductor solder, in addition to the integration of integrated circuits, assembly electronic components, jewelry and ceramic parts is also the development direction for communication The development of miniaturization and lightweight of electronic products, film and television terminal equipment. The high-end solder pastes currently used in the electronics industry are mostly used in products containing precious metals, such as palladium solder, silver paste, etc., while indium-containing products mainly use indium for good corrosion resistance, high wetting properties and high mechanical strength. Improve the grade of the product.

2. Indium porous sintered zinc electrode containing alkaline battery

High-energy alkaline batteries such as Zn-Mn batteries, in order to be mercury-free and improve battery characteristics, have introduced a certain amount of indium compound additives in addition to improving the quality of zinc powder. In order to further improve the battery capacity and discharge characteristics, an In-Zn sintered electrode can be fabricated. Now that the price of indium is low, China's resources are abundant, and the application of developing indium re-battery is an opportunity.

3. Energy-saving, heat-reflecting indium oxide coating

Indium-containing transparent conductive films, in addition to use in LCD, ELD (electroluminescent display), ECD (electrochromic display), there are some important uses. For example, a surface film for improving the hardness of an optical disk, a surface heat-generating film for preventing condensation of glass, a heat-reflecting film (that is, a heat-insulating film), a selectively permeable film for a solar concentrator, and the like.

The indium oxide coating of heat-reflecting glass is generally applied to the three-layer method (Au/Bi2O3/In2O3) for sputtering. After coating the indium oxide layer, it can enhance the infrared reflection ability and resistance to atmospheric and chemical attack. , enhance mechanical strength. The thickness of the coating layer is 5×10-4~2×10-3um, 0.01~0.02um, 0.5~0.3um, respectively, and the infrared reflectance is 80%. In order to reduce the difficulty and cost of the coating process, thermal decomposition of the organic compound of indium can be applied to the glass substrate by a sol-gel coating process. If it is impregnated or brushed on a glass substrate with an indium carboxylate solution, it is dried at 100~150 °C, and thermally decomposed into a transparent film of In2O3 at 400 °C. The method has a simple film formation process, good thermal stability and costs only spraying. 1/5, no need for PVD or CVD large equipment, investment savings of 4/5, and solve the "blackening" problem of sputtering, which is conducive to the coating of complex large workpieces.
